Donna Karan and the Estee Lauder Companies will launch a new fragrance for fall, DKNY My NY – and the bottle is a tribute to New York City. The fragrance is housed in a clear heart shaped bottle, which lets the pink juice show through. The ornate metallic cap is inspired by the NYC skyline. According to Women’s Wear Daily, the juice was developed by Trudi Loren, senior vice president of corporate fragrance development for the Estée Lauder Companies, in partnership with International Flavors & Fragrances. It has top notes of raspberries, galbanum and pink pepper; Egyptian jasmine, freesia and orris root at its heart; and a base of Patchouli Heart LMR, vanilla absolute, musk and ambergris. Singer and actress Rita Ora will star in the colorful ad campaign, which is shown. It was shot in Times Square. Expect to see the ads debut by the end of August.
